The residence is nestled into the forest in a rural residential neighbourhood just outside the city center of Whitehorse. The house is broken into two volumes, one comprising the main house and the other a garage and living suite. The house is rotated 11 degrees on the lot to align windows towards the view of the mountains and north ridge.
